reduction of carbon dioxide (CO2) towards carbon neutrality,

On the other hand, the popularity of so-called old motorcycles is also exploding among motorcycle riders.

Rather than pursuing the latest features of the bike,

It feels good to ride, it’s cool driving pleasure is more important.

 

How initiate bikes custom?

Where do you start when modifying your bike?

There is no place where you have to customize,

It doesn’t say how much you have to modify.

It should be modified as the owner likes.

 

From the manufacturer’s point of view, we are making it so that it is genuine and has good performance.

Customizing could upset that balance.

I would like to customize it with full knowledge of that point.

 

What is customizing that gives individuality?

It’s a world of customizing = self-satisfaction.

Since I am aiming to be the only one,

Which exhaust is better?

Of course one-off is good to aim at only one,

Performance (fuel consumption, torque, power) changes dramatically.

This is also related to intake.

Proper design is required.

 

 

It’s a little difficult, but the engine rotates (vibrates) with a certain period.

At this cycle, the exhaust gas is sent to the exhaust.

When idling, I think that you can hear it,

Since the rotation is low, you can understand this period well.

 

In order to send this cycle smoothly to the muffler,

The front gas, the rear gas, and the following gas are no traffic jams in the muffler, no too much space it needs to be designed to flow.

It’s called “pulsation design”.

Simply put, it adjusts the thickness, length, and bending angle of the muffler.

 

Well, whether it’s a one-off or a ready-made purchase,

I think that most American modified mufflers have poor fuel efficiency and performance,

I decided to choose an off-the-shelf muffler with a cool sound.

 

Which exhaust I purchased?

Modified muffler for XV1100 is quite difficult to find.

Even if you find it, it will be expensive because it is only 1100cc.

I purchased the CLASSIC II CRUISER EXHAUST SYSTEM.

I found it by chance while surfing the web.

 

Since the muffler costs about 110,000 yen,

Maybe sell the bike you own now,

It may be cheaper to buy new.
